The social initiative taken by Sapat group to spread happiness among the unprivileged section of the society. We at Sapat took orphans from Nasik, Aurangabad, and Pune to watch the movie MS Dhoni: The untold story. It was really a treat to see the excitement and happiness in the kids.
We believe education fuels sustainable development and that it’s our moral duty to hone young minds. To this end, Sapat launched the R. H. Sapat Foundation (in memory of our founder) and the Gokhale Education Society (GES) in 1918.
Together, they have been responsible for many milestones in the field of education. Including the founding of two Gokhale Education Society institutes: a college for engineering, and a junior college for arts and science in Nashik.
We have spent decades inspiring young students to achieve brilliance and become upstanding citizens of India. Our future is in the hands of our youth after all, and we take great pride in our efforts towards ensuring that it is a promising one.
In October 2015, we launched Parivar Tea Canvas in collaboration with Flying Carpet. This initiative invites talented but unknown singers from across India to share their videos and audio recordings on parivarteacanvas.com. The most talented ones will be equipped with the makings of international fame.
In its first year, 7 participants were shortlisted by a team led by Mr. Ashish Manchanda (Founder, Flying Carpet Productions). These singers were given the rare opportunity to be featured in a series of 30 Hindi and Marathi videos directed by Blake Farber (known for his work with international stars like Beyoncé). In the end, 7 deserving artistes made a memorable debut, and the world of Hindi and Marathi pop discovered a new sound.
